
Mark is a senior professional with more than 30 years of business and public affairs experience. Mark is currently the CEO of ACAPMA, the national peak body representing fuel distribution and fuel retail businesses in Australia and has worked closely with the Board over the last 5 years to enhance the economic viability of ACAPMA via expansion of the Associations fee for service offerings and geographic expansion into New Zealand.
Prior to joining ACAPMA in February 2015, Mark held a variety of leadership roles in the Australian corporate, small business and not for profit sectors. He has deep knowledge in the road transport and energy sectors with a specialty in the economic and environmental performance of alternative vehicle technologies.
In addition to his role with ACAPMA, Mark is the Board Chair of the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia and a member of the Board of RSPCA Australia. Mark is also an appointed member of several national government-industry committees. These include the ACCC’s Fuel Consultative Committee, a member of the Australian Research Council’s Advisory Committee, and a member of two national industry skills committees that operate under the umbrella of the Australian Industry Skills Council.
Mark holds a degree in Civil/Transport Engineering and a Masters of Business administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
